Throughout the summer I developed hardware and software solutions in order to analyze the patterns bees employ when building their hives. The data was used to develop AI which could generate custom honeycomb infills for non-uniform shapes. This program was designed to be used in manufacturing processes to lower the cost of construction.

I used Python and OpenCV to build the devices which captured the beehives on an hourly interval.
